Bridgend through time

This Video of old Bridgend has been made by animating old photographs taken between 1880 and 1950 in the town centre.

Everyone I know who’s from Bridgend says the town is nothing like it used to be. So in case you were curious, here is a video showing what it used to be like. Have you ever wished you could step back in time,  just to have a look around? Now, thanks to modern AI, we can do exactly that. 

I realise that some of these landmarks have changed a lot down the years, so here is what you are looking at, in each clip:
