Glamorgan History Walks 2026

Get your walking boots on

Once again we are delighted to announce the return of this award winning festival of immersive historical discovery. Where instead of reading about history or watching documentaries about history, you go outside and walk to the places where our history happened.

Have the stories brought to life in their natural setting. And you even get to stick your fingers in the bullet holes!

This year we have kept in a few old favourites, but have responded to your feedback and added in a load of new ones. I have also tried to make this front page as informative as possible to save you having to click to get important information up front.

Here is a key to help you understand it:

Multiple Booking Option

For the first time we are offering a ROVER TICKET for people wishing to book themselves on to multiple walks. You can book up to five walks at a time for a discounted price. Simply make your purchase on the link above and you then get contacted by email for your choice of walks.

Are these walks any good?

Visit Wales award

Well here are a couple of ways of deciding for your self.

Firstly, we were delighted to receive this Silver Medal from South East Wales Tourism Awards last year. It means that our events can’t be completely rubbish. Although it does also mean that there is one out there that’s better!

I find that very difficult to believe!

Probably a better indicator of how enjoyable these walks are, is to look at what people who took part in them had to say.

We are truly humbled that every single review we’ve had to date on TRIPADVISOR (and there are 32 of them) rate us as “EXCELLENT” with five-stars.

Here are some examples…

Testimonial snippets

“We received a wealth of information about the area’s history”

“I find it easy to recommend these history walks because Graham’s extensive knowledge, enthusiasm, and delivery, combined with the relaxed, informal pace, make it a very enjoyable experience”

“Thoroughly enjoyable day, paced just right and taking in places and views I wouldn’t otherwise have seen”
