Description
Cap Coch is a notorious character in Welsh history and folklore. He is remembered as a highwayman from the time when he was landlord of the New Inn which was situated near the “Dipping Bridge” in the village of Merthyr Mawr. He would dispatch his victims while they slept at the inn and would dispose of their bodies by tossing them into the River Ogmore.
This T-Shirt recreates the moment someone new checks in for the night. Never again to see another dawn. On the front we see Cap Coch in his tell tale red hat. He is standing in front of the Dipping Bridge and is saying “a room facing the river? Certainly sir” with a sinister smile. On the back is the Glamorgan Heritage label.
