Start in the grounds of Ogmore Castle CF32 0QP

Merthyr Mawr has to be one of the most picturesque villages in the country. This walks takes in all the sights. Including the medieval bridge with mysterious holes in the walls.
But this sleepy village has seen its fair share of horrors. We visit the site of an inn where terrifying events took place. And we visit the prisoner of war camp where the German POWs tunnelled out to freedom.

This walk is less than 5 miles. The only thing you need to concern your self with is the styles. There are a couple of really high ones. Therefore I would say that this walk is not a good one for push chairs or big dogs that will need lifting over.
