Starts outside the Guildhall, Llantrisant CF72 8EE

A Sunday afternoon stroll around the hill top ancient town of Llantrisant. A town shaped by its ‘gateway’ location. On the medieval border between Marcher England and the Welsh Cantrefs. It was a stop off for drovers on the ridgeway, and 6th Century Christian missionaries. It was also the home of the colourful Dr Price and the birth place of modern day cremation.

This walk isn’t particularly long but there are some big hills and a couple of narrow paths.

If you would like to take part without walking the full 5 miles, there is an option to just do the section in the town.
