Glamorgan History Walks – Walk Fourteen
Start in Dinas Powys village square CF64 4AA

This walk takes us through some really beautiful countryside. We take in an Iron Age hill fort with spectacular views above Cwm George, it self an ancient woodland. The elegant Cwrt Yr Ala with its landscaped parklands and river wiers at salmon Leaps show a more genteel side to the areas history.

This is a great walk which anyone should be able to enjoy. Mostly good paths. However the path up to the hill fort is steep and can be muddy and slippery, especially in the rain. The path through the woods beyond Cwrt Yr Ala are also narrow and can be muddy.
